Arctic Atmosphere
The atmosphere of Antarctica has warmed drastically over the past 30 years, due to global warming and climate change. The arctic atmosphere has responded strongly to the increase of greenhouse gasses. Because the Arctic atmosphere has changed, this could show that the greenhouse gasses are affecting the earth’s entire climate. A lot of the Arctic appears to have warmed at the surface for the past 40 years. Much of the warming has been caused by the greenhouse gasses that have affected the atmospheric circulation. The recent decades have also seen a shift of precipitation in the Arctic. The ozone concentration has also contributed to the change of the arctic atmosphere.
